These are our recommendations based on CEFR levels, not an official school curriculum.
Grade 3 A1
First sentences: to be, pronouns, plurals, a/an.
Grade 4 A1
Routines, actions now and where things are.
Grade 5 A1–A2
Past, future plans, comparisons and amounts.
Grade 6 A2
Past actions in progress, rules and advice.
Grade 7 A2–B1
Experience, tense contrast and conditions.
Grade 8 B1
Passive, reported speech and past habits.
Grade 9 B1–B2
Perfect tenses, deduction and phrasal verbs.
Grade 10 B2
Future perfect, complex object and wishes.
Grade 11 B2–C1
Advanced structures and emphasis for exams.
This curriculum represents recommended global English language learning benchmarks appropriate for each school level. It is not an official state-mandated curriculum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
